Trinidad Ingenios LE 2007 Review

Trinidad Ingenios LE 2007
It was a warm night and luckily my wife and son had gone to bed early! My drink for the evening, not by choice, with this cigar was a Banrock Station Cabernet Merlot which is an o.k. quaff standard of red. Anyway.. on with the review!
The construction of the Trinidad Ingenios is of the highest standard. The wrapper is quite dark and oily with a chocolatey

The first quarter of the cigar wasn’t plugged but certainly harder to smoke than the rest of the cigar. Typically I prefer a larger gauge cigar that offers plenty of smoke. eg. Cohiba Siglo VI. On this occasion there wasn’t a lot of smoke initially but I was pleased as it changed rather quickly! The flavours were smooth, nutty, with a touch of cedar. As the smoke increased the flavours become more woody and intensified. I was now really savouring this cigar!

Just by looking at the pictures, I can tell the construction of this cigar is top shelf. A am surprised however that it could be that good after only 3 weeks of aging, although you mentioned your preference was for smoke.
I have yet to try a Trinidad yet and this review has just convinced me to run out and right this injustice, excellent review.
